What happened to the live hourly coverage calculation?

On the daily schedule view, on the grey bottom bar (opposite the top bar which displays the hours of the day), my schedule suddenly stopped tabulating the total number of hours scheduled during each time slot.  For example, if I had five employees scheduled between 1 pm and 2 pm, the bottom bar would display | 5.0 | in the area corresponding to | 1P | on the top bar.
Now, the bottom bar is completely blank.  How do I re-enable this helpful calculation?
